Julie Verhoeven is a British illustrator that Studied fashion at University of Creative Arts. She not only makes illustrations but also paintings and sculptures. Initially worked as assistant in fashion industry but now already made illustrations for Dazed and Confused and collaborated with designers such Louis Vuitton and Mulberry. We can see her work in galleries and she is a teacher at Central St Martins and Royal College of Art.
Her work is more abstract comparing with the previous ilustrators that I posted previously, she chooses a section that she will spend more time making the details like for example the faces and the acessories (like the belt in the picture below, on the left) , she then leaves the rest with just some of the outline and in the end she adds extra elements as we can see in the images below, we can see the fire, the circles, the water and the umbrella. She uses alot of her imaginary to create these pieces that are almost like characters of a story.
